Question: What should I expect from your company?
Answer: We realize purchasing or refinancing a home is a major financial committment and can be stressful for some clients. Our goal is to make sure the only stress you may feel in relation to your home financing be over what color you are going to paint your new kitchen or how you might decorate your new place. You will receive fantastic mortgage terms, an unparalled mortgage education relevant to your personal financial picture, unparalled service, your closed mortgage loan will be managed through our complimentary Ratewatch service and annual client mortgage reviews, and you and your family (we encourage you to bring your children to our seminars) will be eligible to attend ongoing complimentary client educational seminars on a variety of different financial and estate planning topics designed to help you manage all aspects of your financial life - not just your mortgage.
Question: Are you the cheapest place in town?
Answer: Sometimes we are the cheapest, though we'll never advertise ourselves that way. We are always competitively priced as all lenders work off the same financial markets but our true pride (and source of constant repeat business and referrals) is related to our ultra-high client service levels, financial education we provide, our smooth loan processing, and our proprietary Mortgage Under Management System we have in place to manage your closed mortgage loan. We have invested in the system's, tools, and team to guarantee you the service you deserve. It's hard to capture those values in a name! That is why we never advertise ourselves as the "lowest guaranteed rate", even though we usually are anyway.
Question: Technology? So you do everything online and never talk to me again?
Answer: No, of course not! We use technology as a way to communicate with clients more often and more meaningfully. Technology helps us automate many of our "back office" tasks and lowers our overhead costs which saves our clients money and allows us to spend more time with our clients.
We believe technology's purpose is to increase the amount of time we spend with clients and referral partners. This is in contrast to many other mortgage lenders that hide behind voicemail and automated Web sites. Financing a home should not be a self-service experience but rather an experience filled with high quality customized financial advice relevant to your situation.
Because we apply technology with the client in mind, our practice is able to close loans very quickly, offer our clients ultimate flexibility throughout the loan process, and we are always reachable. Technology also allows us to close your loan without necessitating a visit to our offices - something which many busy professionals enjoy.
Question: What about the mortgage horror stories we have all heard about?
Answer: We've heard of these, too. At the last minute, the loan is suddenly not approved or the rates and cost change at the closing table. Or worse yet, the loan falls through entirely and a client loses a home as a result.
This is why it is so important to trust your business to a professional, not a bargain basement operation. We have bailed out clients when things have fallen through with online lenders and we would not trust our own loan to an unknown out of state lender. A horror story like that has never happened to one of our clients, and you will not have surprises at the closing table.
Question: How do I know that you will do a great job for me?
Answer: Almost 100% of our business has been referred by a satisfied former client, or an experienced, high quality Realtor or Financial, Insurance, or Legal Professional - the only type of professionals that we work with.
Chances are, you did not stumble across us by accident -- we generally do not promote ourselves blindly to the public. This is unlike most loan officers who spend their time looking for business from just about anywhere!
